Although the Anderson Trucking Services, commonly known as ATS, was officially founded by Harold Anderson in 1955, its roots can still be traced back to 1941 when the Anderson operated only three units in long-distance services for the Cold Spring Granite Company. During that time, Harold Anderson realized not only the value of a trucking service that integrated a national and international shipping service, but also one that can offer its clients a high level of personal customer service.
The company officially started when the Andersons purchased the assets and operating authority of a common carrier that transported granite monuments and buildings to 20 different states. During that time, the company only had two partially usable trucks and a staff that consisted of two drivers, a mechanic, and a dispatcher.
For over 60 years now, the company has provided solutions to any transportation that their loyal clientele. The company uses the latest technology in their trucking services, as demonstrated by their crane vans and modern inland and international heavy haul transportation services. ATS has now become one of the leading transportation and shipping company throughout the United States as well as other countries, such as Canada and Mexico.
